A Blustery Day

Last night I went to my friend's sister's cottage to celebrate a good friend's birthday. There were four us and we enjoyed a lovely dinner together and a delicious dessert (see picture) and then a movie. We stayed up rather late (2am) solving the problems of the world before we retired to bed. What a fun evening!

Overnight the winds and rain picked up. We woke up to a very blustery fall morning. The waves were crashing into the shore and the trees were doing a furious dance choreographed by the wind. It was an awesome and powerful performance.
