Lady Slippers

While walking with my friends I spotted Lady Slippers growing along the side of the trail. Techno Dude and I rode our bikes back earlier this evening to snap a few pictures. Here's my favorite!

It's Been A While

Well it sure has been a while since I last blogged. Yikes, time flies. I use my blog as a spring board to all the family blogs I link too, so I am reminded on a daily basis that I need to update this page.

Winter this year was uneventful where the weather was concerned. We didn't get enough snow to even put on our snowshoes. This is extremely odd for this neck of the woods.

We attended an awesome family reunion in the DR in February. It was so much fun and it was great to spend a whole week with people I love relaxing, laughing and trying new things! New things you ask? Yes, snorkling and parasailing. Great fun!

And now it's spring. The temperatures are still on the cool side. Techno Dude is working on Suds and the girls are home for a week before beginning their summer activities. M will do her LAST semester of university. Where does the time go? Reebinator will do a stint at a big company in Toronto learning even more photography and photo editing skills.

So Much Family, So Much Love

As many of you know this weekend our girls gave us a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party. It was so beautiful and my heart is full. After the party, the family and some of our close friends went to a local restaurant to celebrate some more over dinner. It has been a long, long time since Techno Dude and I have been able to enjoy the company of so many family members and close friends all at one time. Thank you to our girls, M and Reebs for all the hard work and planning. You are amazing and your dad and I are incredibly proud of you. Thank you to all our family and friends who made this time so special!

Tea with M

This picture was taken at the Kemble Women's Institute Lookout located along Scenic Grey Road 1, this parkette is a must see.  The Parkette is a memorial to the members of the Kemble Women's Institute, past and present, and it celebrates the 110th anniversary of the organization and features a unique tea service carving of rock and concrete.
